During the 4-H State Cooking Char-Grill Competition last week, two Edgecombe County teens came out on top with their uniquely executed grilled pork recipes.

The competitors were scored on categories such as: professionalism, safety, uniquity, flavor, and execution. While all of the dishes tasted that day were delicious two young men stood out and took home the gold for their age division.
