In accordance with provisions stated in Article VIII of the North Carolina Pork Council Bylaws, notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the members of the Council will be held on Thursday, February 29 at 7:45 am at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills, Raleigh, NC. The purpose of the meeting is to present financials and announce elected 2024 Board of Directors.

Feral swine have been a problem in North Carolina since European settlers came. As the feral population continues to grow, it poses a more serious biosecurity threat to the pork industry. Members of the NC Feral Swine Task Force will present findings from a year of in-depth study into the problem of feral swine in North Carolina, and the solution to eliminate the threat.
